The police caught seven people and took another seventeen to various police stations in Hajdú-Bihar County yesterday.
Four perpetrators were caught in the act of committing crimes and another three were taken into custody on the basis of warrants for arrest issued by Hungarian courts. Eight people were taken to police stations as suspects.
There were three traffic accidents from which one resulted in minor injuries and two in serious ones.
A 20 year old man was caught stealing metal in the courtyard of a family house in Balmazújváros yesterday morning. After the owner of the house had called the police, the perpetrator was taken to the police station where a procedure was initiated against him on reasonable suspicion of theft.
