On Thursday evening (17th December), a pedestrian was hit and killed by train in Zamárdi.
The Balaton IC from Keszthely to the Southern Railway Station hit a pedestrian in Zamárdi, in Hársfa Street, who died in the accident.
Until the completion of the site investigation, replacement buses ran between Zamárdi Upper and Szántód-Kőröshegy stops, and the traveling time on the South Balaton line increased by 60-80 minutes, Mávinform reported in a statement.
