The Debrecen Regional Court of Appeal sentenced the two young men, who damaged the Great Church, for two years of probation period.
On 16 April 2016 a swastika and a reverse cross was painted on the Debrecen Great Church. After a thorough investigation, the police have found the perpetrators. The damage was caused by two underage boys, who admitted and regretted their crime.
The restoration of the church have cost 80 thousands Forints.
The Debrecen Regional Court of Appeal sentenced the perpetrators for two years of probation period; the sentence is not legally binding.
